Plans were put in place to replace Burry Port’s ageing boathouse and bring its lifeboats under one roof. This was a huge upgrade from the existing inadequate building and we were extremely keen to be involved with the project.
The new building comprised of a main boat hall, new changing room facilities, a shop, Ops room, multi-function room and viewing area open to the public.
The scope of the project included installation of lighting, emergency lighting fed via a lighting inverter, external lighting and floodlighting, small power, fire alarm system and aspirating system, data installation, CCTV, 110V distribution equipment, photovoltaic installation and space heating.
Our project management and site team enjoyed working on this as a team, delivering the project on time and within budget.
